Since 2010 The Africa Trust has been funding hundreds of business skills training programs reaching thousands of individuals in Uganda. Training one individual costs just £12 for the whole course.

An independent survey which was carried out at the start of 2012 to identify the effectiveness of this course provided promising results;

‘The assessment revealed that 36.9 % (3 out of every 10 trained clients) started a new business, 58.5% (5 out of every 10 clients) were able to generate business ideas after training compared to 30.9% before, 53.9% able to keep and distinguish business money from the personal money after compared to 26.6% before training, 38.3% keeping financial records compared to 16.3% before training.’
